FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is JSON-LD structured data?
JSON-LD is the format Google recommends for schema markup — a small script in your page’s HTML that describes the content (an FAQ, a product, an article) so search engines can show rich results.
Does this tool validate the markup?
Yes. It checks three things live: structural errors and missing Google-required fields (errors), missing recommended fields that affect rich-result eligibility (warnings), and format problems like non-absolute URLs or non-ISO dates.
Which schema types are supported?
Eight of the most common: FAQPage, Article, Product, LocalBusiness, Organization, Person, BreadcrumbList and WebSite. We add more based on what people ask for.
Is it free and private?
Yes — no signup, no limits, and everything runs in your browser. We dogfood it too: every page on this site uses JSON-LD generated from the same config.
